Your profile
Your personal Arvello profile: interface language in English or Estonian, email and password changes, and two-factor authentication for secure sign-in.
Your profile is yours, not the company's: the name and photo shown to teammates, the language the interface speaks to you, and the email, password and two-factor setup that protect your sign-in. It stays with you across every company you belong to.
With a company open, find it under Account in the Settings group of the sidebar; from the personal area it's Profile. Both lead to the same page.
Interface language
Arvello's interface is available in English and Estonian. Pick your preferred language from the Language selector — the choice applies to you only, so you can work in English while your accountant works the same books in Estonian. This documentation is currently available in English.
Email and password
- Update your Email — enter the new address twice and Arvello sends a confirmation link to it; the change takes effect once you click the link. Until then, the old address keeps working.
- Update your Password — enter the current password, then the new one twice. If it's been a long time since you signed in, Arvello may ask you to sign out and back in first before allowing the change.
If you signed up with Google, there's no Arvello password to manage — your sign-in (and any password changes) stay with your Google account.
Two-factor authentication
The Multi-Factor Authentication section adds a second check at sign-in: press Setup a new Factor, scan the QR code with an authenticator app, and enter the six-digit code it generates. Give the factor a memorable name — "iPhone 14" beats "Factor 1" when you're deciding which one to remove two years later. You can enrol more than one factor, and remove or disable them here too. Your email address needs to be verified before MFA can be set up.
Given that this account can send invoices, run payroll and file VAT returns in your company's name, a second factor is cheap insurance.
Name, picture and theme
The Your Name and Profile Picture cards control how you appear to teammates — in the members list and the activity log. The colour theme (light, dark, or follow your system) lives in the user menu in the corner of the app rather than on this page.
Deleting your account
The danger zone at the bottom deletes your personal account — and with it any companies you own, cancelling their active subscriptions immediately. It's confirmed by typing DELETE, and it cannot be undone.
