1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how Arvello, operated by Namasgo OÜ (Estonian registry code: 16747054, Harku Tee 34, Rannamõisa, 76906, email: info@arvello.ee), uses cookies and similar technologies on arvello.ee and the Arvello application (the “Service”).
For details on how we process personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage, which stores data on your device without sending it with every request. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or setting preferences.
| Purpose | Provider | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication | Supabase (Arvello) | Keeps you signed in to your account and securely identifies your session. Removed or expired when you sign out. |
| Security | Arvello | Protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery and other abuse. |
| Preferences | Arvello | Remembers settings such as your language and light/dark theme choice. |
3.2 Analytics cookies
We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to understand how the Service is used and to detect errors, so we can improve the product. PostHog stores a randomly generated identifier in cookies and local storage on your device. We do not use analytics data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
3.3 Payment cookies
When you view pricing or manage a subscription, Stripe, our payment processor, may set cookies needed to process payments securely and to prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.
3.4 Sign-in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of the authentication flow. This only happens when you use that sign-in option. See Google's cookie policy for details.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Service.
Instructions for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove services that use cookies. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
