Invoicing & sales
Invoicing software for Estonian companies: create sales invoices, send them as PDF by email or as Peppol e-invoices, and track payment through to paid.
Everything to do with billing your customers lives in the Sales area: invoices, recurring templates, client records, payments and the invoice designer. This page is a map of the section β each child page covers one part in detail.

An invoice in Arvello moves through a simple lifecycle. You create a draft, which you can edit or delete freely. When you finalise it, Arvello assigns the next invoice number, posts the accounting entries and locks the document β from then on it is sent, and once payment arrives in full it becomes paid. A sent invoice past its due date is flagged overdue automatically; nothing for you to do there, though chasing the client remains your department.
Two ways to deliver an invoice
| Channel | What the client gets | Covered in |
|---|---|---|
| PDF by email | An email with the invoice summary and a download link | Sending invoices & getting paid |
| E-invoice via Peppol | Structured data delivered straight into their accounting software | E-invoices & Peppol |
Peppol is the pan-European e-invoicing network. Clients who accept e-invoices are badged in your contact list; everyone else receives a PDF, and you can always choose the PDF route regardless.
Invoice numbering
Numbers are assigned at the moment an invoice is finalised, combining the prefix and sequence you chose when setting up your company. Both can be changed later in company settings.
